Here at It Takes A Village Family Farm, 3 Gents stick to growing everything on the land as organic as possible, no shortcuts. Together, with nature, we strive to achieve balance by being proactive, observing, and reacting accordingly to the obstacles presented. the best part about it, no big machinery was used to bring you the fruits of our labor. We worked the land by hand. With the harvest, you will be able to taste the love we have for each other and passion we have for farming.
The fruits and vegetables in-ground are grown in sandy soil. For the produce in the raised beds, they are grown in dark compost rich soil to which is slightly sandy.
Harsh chemicals aren't the way we deal with the pests in the produce field. We prefer natural organic methods to deal with our pests problems. When we do this, there are additional benefits such as enriching the soil, increasing moisture, mildew prevention, and more.
